2002 altima i loose power at 2200 rpm?
in my 2002 nesian altima i loose power at about 2200 to 2500 rpms. my service engine soon light just came on. this all happend right after i went to get my car washed but it has been a day and about 100 miles. i can't go past 60 because the rpms are too high.

It's possible (but unlikely) that an under-carriage spray damaged part of your exhaust system. You can generally visit an Autozone or similar auto parts supply store, and ask them to connect and On Board Diagnostic (OBD) reader to your car, and read the code that is turning on your Check Engine light. They'll generally do this for free.
With the actual numeric code in hand, you'll be in position to research your problem further, and pursue the correct fix. My guess is you'll probably need a new oxygen sensor, or that the wiring to your sensor has been knocked off or shorted.

That sounds like a transmission problem, more than an engine problem, although problems with your Engine Control Unit (ECU) could be failing to give the transmission the signals it needs for upshift. There is generally an electronic speed sensor on the output of the transmission that supplies a signal to the ECU to inform it of vehicle speed, and it is possible that this was damaged somehow by undercarriage spray.
But again, having your OBD codes read will be the surest, fastest way to figuring out what is wrong with your car.
