Here are some more information for Brackets Volkswagen:

For any driver looking to get insurance for them and their vehicle there are a number of considerations that determine the cost of their insurance. How long the driver has been on the road for, how many accidents they have had and their age are often the key factors that can give the driver cheap or expensive car insurance.
However, Government are considering placing a new law in place that will stop insurers discriminating on age. It is common knowledge that most accidents on the road are caused by new young drivers who are inexperienced and elderly drivers whose reaction times and driving skills have deteriorated with age. The insurance prices offered to drivers within these brackets reflect such statistics, with insurers charging young and elderly drivers more as they know it is these drivers who are more likely to cost them in claims. This seems a fair reflection and policy to take but the Government are now looking to implement laws that will stop young and elderly drivers being charged more because of the age bracket they fall in. If such a law is passed this will have a damaging effect on the car insurance cost of the everyday, safe driver who will be charged more to compensate for the young and elderly drivers now paying lower premiums. Hiking up the premium costs for everyday drivers will be inevitable for insurers as they look to maintain the revenue they receive whilst being forced to charge the most high risk drivers less.
With car insurance premiums likely to be on the rise car insurance comparison is more important than ever for drivers with every type of insurance likely to increase from classic car insurance to performance car insurance. This is likely to make cheap insurance much harder to find meaning drivers will have to look much harder to find a great deal.
Honda Sweeps Which? Car Reliability Honors
HONDA has emerged victorious in UK’s 2007 Which? Car reliability study of new models - its Jazz supermini besting all other contenders to emerge as the overall ratings with a rating from owners of 96 per cent.
Honda – also maker of top of the line auto parts like Honda ball joint, has also either won or shared top spot in the medium car bracket with the previous generation Civic; in the large car group with the Accord; in the people-carrier section with the FR-V and among off-roaders with the old CR-V.
The only disappointment the automaker so far had was with its latest Civic which earned a poor reliability rating of only 82 per cent. Overall average for new cars was 88 per cent.
According to Which? Car, the least reliable new model based from its survey of 93,365 motorists was the Land Rover Discovery 3, "not as big and tough as it thinks it is," with a rating of 79 per cent.
Which? Car also noted that the VW Passat, contrary to Volkswagen's reputation for reliability, was a disappointment, same with the Peugeot 307 and Renault Megane, all with 82 per cent.
Honda also won Which? Car’s manufacturers' league table, taking the overall reliability index of 86 per cent, with Toyota following closely behind with just one point to sit in the second place.
Following in the list were other Far Eastern manufacturers: Daihatsu, Hyundai, Lexus, Mazda, Subaru and Suzuki were all vying for the third place, all of which scored 82 per cent.
At the bottom of the list was Land Rover with 68 per cent, just behind Renault and Fiat.
‘Honda is setting the benchmark in car reliability and it’s up to other manufacturers to raise their standards to match.’ Which? Car Editor Richard Headland, said

How can I modify my 1970 Volkswagen Beetle to look like an earlier 67 model or earlier?
I own a 1970 Volswagen Beetle, but I want the bumper, bumper brackets, and horn grilles of the earlier models. What parts do I need to get to modify my bug to do this? If I bought the Volkswagen '67 fenders, would they mount on my '70 beetle? If I bought the bumpers from '67, would I have to mount them to a different front apron? Will my old turn signals and headlights still fit on the older model fenders?
go to mid america.com for vws they have converson kits to do that i have 74 beetle which i made look like pre68 beetle
