Here are some more information for Cab Step:

I haven't ridden in a Dodge Pickup Truck for several years. I was pleasantly
surprised recently when I got to ride with a friend. There have been some major
changes since the late 90's, that's for sure.
Remember the Old Days with Diesel?
Most people equate a bit Ram 3500 Turbo Diesel Pickup truck with noise, dirt and
discomfort. Boy are they wrong! The Ram 3500 Turbo Diesel is a pleasant
surprise. It's as quiet as can be inside the cab and the truck takes you down
the highway in smooth comfort. The Ram 3500 is powered by a 6-cylinder 5.9-liter
Cummins Turbo Diesel engine that delivers 325. Its 4-speed automatic
transmission has a handy Trailer Mode setting to help minimize those annoying up
and down gear changes that take place when you're pulling something behind you.
Killer Good Looks
Just one look at the Ram 3500 tells you it's a real work truck -strong body
lines, big wheels and tires, heavy duty rear springs and high ground clearance.
The only problem seen here is that you might want to leave the wife or girl
friend home, or add on some custom step bar. Of course that's a good
rationalization for a custom upgrade. But the
Ram 3500 Quad Cab Turbo goes well
beyond functional to pull double-duty as a truck that can move two rows of
passengers in decent comfort.
The Ram's paint finish and chrome trim are as good as you'll see on any mid to
upscale car. The quad cab model is beautiful and you won't have any fight with
the family if you want to carry them to church on Sunday in real style.
You'll love the pair of heavy duty tow rings that'll come in handy for pulling
or being pulled. A look at the back of the Dodge Ram reveals the rigid factory
bedliner that protects the bed from scratches and dings, and under the tailgate
is a towing package with a Class IV receiver hitch and wiring plug. Lets just
say, if you are serious about towing power and you want a REAL diesel, the
Dodge
Ram 3500 is for you.

Who Makes the Best Truck Step Bars?
From ice and snow to road grime, mud and loose gravel, the surface you step onto as you climb in and out of your rig can be treacherous. And whether you're riding high in a big rig or rolling around in a standard pickup, if that first step is a big one, the risk-factor for a sprained ankle (or worse) increases exponentially. Truck step bars cut the distance in half, greatly reducing the risk of injury not only to you but your bodyline as well. Here's how.
Step bars are known by a number of names, including nerf bars, side steps and running boards. Made specific to each make, model and year, they come in varying cab sizes and are constructed of durable bent metal tubes, sealed against the elements in chrome, polished stainless steel or black powder coating. Step bars also feature treaded pads that channel water away from the stepping area, providing a non-slip surface when stepping in and out of your cab. Step bars provide the strength and durability required for heavy-duty use and support up to 300 lbs of evenly-distributed weight. For additional support, running boards can be added, withstanding up to 500 lbs.
But, step bars are more than just convenient. They're also a great line of defense, covering the width of your truck or SUV from wheel to wheel and creating a buffer that stops carelessly-flung car doors, sticks or other damaging debris before they connect and leave a lasting mark. Think of them as your own personal cement posts—people will think twice before letting their doors fly into a solid-looking set of step bars.
Designed and engineered specifically to your make, model and year, products like Dee Zee step bars, Westin step bars, Steelcraft step bars, Rampage step bars and Aries step bars come with custom mounting-hardware and attach directly onto the pre-existing mounting position on your vehicle for a no-drill installation. These trusted brands have a proven history for delivering lasting products that provide heavy-duty performance.
While the construction of the step bars themselves is extremely important, the materials used to forge the supporting hardware, like the mounting brackets, nuts, bolts and washers, also play a large part in overall durability. Some manufacturers will use high carbon steel with a coating of black paint over the top for the mounting hardware. Many consumers prefer these parts as they tend to blend into the vehicle's exterior. However, after continuous exposure to rain, salt and loose gravel, corrosion takes hold and has been shown to corrupt the metal and weaken the mounting hardware. So whether you're in the market for Tahoe nerf bars, Ford F150 nerf bars, Expedition nerf bars or Honda Element step bars, make sure you compare models and select one that supplies mounting hardware constructed of stainless steel. It will be far less susceptible to corrosion and provide a lasting return on your investment.

Will a Bed Cover from a 99 sonoma fit ext. cab step side fit on s-10?
Will a bed cover from a 99 sonoma sted side ext. cab fit on a 99 s-10 ext. cab if the s-10 is not a step side
For the most part they are the same trucks just have different names on them. Since they both are extended cab and one is not a step side, they may not fit. I would measure the length and witdth of the S-10 and the Sonoma to see if they are the same. If they are, then they should fit.

Compiled by Daniel Dullum ONE YEAR AGO June 11, 2009 In the age of MP3 technology, it’s now possible to take a tour of historic Florence without taking a step. On May 29, town leaders stopped by the Florence Visitors Center for a demonstration of a new, 12-minute interpretive audio/video tour of the historic district.
