What is the true top speed of the Corvette ZR1? In the video link below shows a stock?
2008 Z06 doing 206.93 mph. GM claims the more powerful ZR1 has a top speed of 205. Is it electronically limited or are they playing games with hp/performance as they did in the 60's and EARLY 70's(trans am H.D. for example)

Manufactuer claims are always conservative. The Z06 was rated at 198 and the ZR1 was at 205.
The true top speed is around 208 according to Insideline.
Corvette Racing retirement report
LE MANS, France, June 13, 2010 -- Corvette Racing's bid for its first GT2 title in the 24 Hours of Le Mans ended this morning at 9:42 a.m. when the No. 64 Corvette C6.R retired with an apparent engine problem.
