The Honda Civic has been one of the most popular cars ever since its introduction to the American auto market way back in the 1970s. The standard transmission for most models is a 5 speed manual which gave the best fuel economy of all that were offered. There is also a 4 speed automatic which can be found on many of these cars as well. Some of the upper-level models were only offered with the automatic transmission. The great fuel economy ranged anywhere from 25 mpg in the city to a whopping 39 mpg on the highway. Compared with competitors like the Toyota Corolla the Civic gets just about similar fuel consumption numbers and beats many of the other cars in the segment.
Buyers looking for a reliable car that doesn't cost a whole lot to maintain and gets superb gas mileage must consider one of the 1992 Honda Civic models. The only real competitor that even holds a chance at competing is the Corolla and the Civic offers a few more refinements than even that car.

Which car is a better buy: Base priced 2008 Altima Coupe or a well equiped 2008 Scion tC?
I have heard that the Scion tC is more of a chick car; although, i thought it would be fun to drive when i sat in one that was colored in mica flint.
Also the Altima coupe would be the 2.5S model running around 22k without leather seats. The exterior looks great, but i have not really sat in one so i dont know how well equipped the interior will be on a 2.5S model.
The Scion tC would run around 19k. I really like the Pioneer sound system, the amount of space inside, and the overall drive even though i dont think it will be able to handle speedy highways.
I'd get the Scion, the altima is too heavy and slow with the 2.5L and if you add performance parts to it, you'll end up with a huge amount of torque steer and you end up fighting the car. Bottom line: get the loaded Scion, more features, more mpg, more fun.

European Web site Autoblog.nl has leaked this image of what it says is the 2011 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe, successor to the CL63 AMG. A Mercedes official says the car will in fact carry forward as the CL for 2011.
