How do you replace the heater core in a Dodge Ram Van 1500?
We have a 1995 Dodge Ram Conversion Van 1500. It is 2 wheel drive with air-conditioning. The heater core has a leak in it. Could you tell me (to pass on to hubby!) specifically where the heater core is located and how to replace it on this particular model? I think it may be on the left side facing the engine compartment in a big black box, does this sound right?
its on the right side,( passengers side ),in the black box which is the heater box,you have to remove the box and get it down to get to the heater core,tell your husband that he will need a repair manual to help him with this one,there's a lot of disconnecting to do get it out,its a good all day job if you have never done one before,good luck with it.
