how do you remove the thermal fan clutch on a 2000 gmc sierra?
i have a 2000 gmc sierra 4.8L v8 and cant figure out which way to turn the nut on the thermal fan clutch so i can remove it from the water pump pulley.
it is a left hand thread and may require a special tool which you can get for free at auto zone or similar (loan). Check out the auto zone web site under repairs for help.
