On the higher end of the spectrum is Three Rivers Restaurant. A five star restaurant with an elegant atmosphere. You can get a 3 course meal with your glass of wine. When you go there you must try their chicken fried steak. It is great. The next place is the Big Cup Eatery. It has a family orientated atmosphere with a varied menu. You can get fish, chicken, fajitas,or burgers. There are two really good barbeque places in town. One being the Ranch House. When you go there, make sure you get the banana pudding. It is good. The other place is Hammond's barbeque. They both have a more good 'ol boy atmosphere. They do not sell alcohol but you are welcome to bring your own in.
We also have Taylor's Turn N Burn. A very god place to eat so I've heard. They have the best steak in town per their billboard. There is a mexican food place, Chachi's. They serve Tex-Mex food and is really good. If you're in town on Thursday night or Sunday at lunch, they have an all-you-can-eat buffet. We also have an Italian food place Juliana's. They serve all kinds of pasta and the broccli chicken alfredo is good.
You also have several chain fast food places. Burger King, Dairy Queen, Chicken Express, and Sonic. There are also two pizza places. One being Mr. Jims Pizza and the other Simple Simons of which both offer delivery. These are only a few places to eat in Glen Rose. These restaurants are located on the main highway 67.

King Ranch Chicken Casserole
Ingredients:
8- 8" corn tortillas, divided
Chicken broth
2 tbsp butter
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1- 14oz can cream of chicken soup
1- 14oz can cream of mushroom soup
1 tbsp chili powder
3 to 4 pound fryer, cooked, boned and diced
1- 12oz pkg shredded American cheese
1- 10oz can chopped tomatoes & green chilies (Ro-Tel if available)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. In a 10x14 inch greased casserole oven dish, layer half the tortillas dipped in hot chicken broth, just long enough to soften. In a skillet, sauté onion & bell pepper in butter. Stir in soups, chili powder and diced chicken. Pour half the mixture over the dipped tortillas, then half the shredded cheese. Repeat layers: tortillas, mixture & cheese ending by pouring the tomato-green chilies over the top.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until hot and bubbly. This casserole may be frozen and reheated! If freezing, be sure to wrap appropriately, or use an appropriate sized glass dish with lid.
Tip: this casserole might be the best-loved recipe in Texas.

My kid spilled a sprite on a borrowed King Ranch truck seat. How do I clean it? It's still wet.?
I'm freaking out and reallly need to figure out how to clean this! The soda was clear, but it left streaks down the back rest and seat. I want to return the truck tomorrow. It is still wet and I'd like to clean it properly ASAP. Any ideas? The leather is not like other leather seats, it is untreated.
First thing I'd do is go get my Shop Vac (wet/dry vacuum) and vacuum up as much moisture/soda from the material as possible. If you don't have one of these (which everybody should have), a regular vacuum is better than nothing. Then, I'd sprinkle a generous layer of baking soda over the spill. This will absorb more moisture. Let that sit for a half hour or so, then vacuum that up too. That should take care of the soda, the rest will dry out eventually, or you can use a hair dryer to dry it out. If it stains, you'll have to get a bit more handy. 2 things you could do here, is: go out and get an upolstry cleaner from an auto supply store. This thing is a can with a built-in plastic bristle brush on it. It sprays out a foam. Foam up the seat/spill, and brush it like a lather all around the spill. It should dry clear and get the stain out. Other option is to use a carpet shampooer vacuum if you have one. These have an upolstery attachment via a hose, and you spray shampoo cleaner onto the area, then vacuum it up with the hose attachment.
