The 2010 BMW X6 lineup features some new versions, including a high performance M and electric/gas hybrid. Is the Infinity G35 coupe and the Nissan Altima coupe almost the same car?
I like the G35 but i noticed how much it looks like an Altima coupe. Is Infinity and Nissan part of the same company? Or is it a coincidence? And if they use the same base chassis and such, what are the differences?
Same company, same engine (albeit with much-different tuning), wholly-different platform. (Nissan's front-drive D platform underpins the Altima, the Maxima and the Murano; Infiniti's G is on the rear-drive FM platform, as is the 350/370Z.)
Still, I can't blame Nissan for designing a $30k car that looks like a dead ringer for their $40k car, even if they're otherwise almost nothing alike.
