How easy is it do paint a primed bumper?
I damaged the front bumper of my ford mondeo. I can pick up a replacement from ebay which is primed and ready to be painted for around £30. Or I could buy a pre-painted (matching the colour of my car) for around £120.
Obviously I rather go for the first option, but just wanted to know how easy and expensive it is to paint the bumper myself? Is it something I can do in my back yard?
I would appreciate any help.
Yes this is easy seeing it's a smaller area, when you receive it check the primer for any marks then give it rub down with wet & dry 400 grade. Then get a matching aerosol spray can, pick a dry warm day and spray it a few fine coats are better than trying to cover it in one go. Good Luck.
