I'm looking for a word or phrase that describes the use of contraditory communication to elevate the tonality. Lemony Snicket does it - he uses gloomy candor to create humor. The movie site utilized it: "don't go see this miserably movie, it is not happy or have a happy ending". I'm not looking for reverse psychology or blatant spoilers.
