You just started a new job. WANT and NEED or two different things. You're a security guard that makes $1400/month, you do not need a NEW gas guzzling truck that with gas and insurance, will consume 80% of what you make in a month. Buy a $10,000 Tacoma or Frontier.
$611/month for a 1500? You should be at $400-450 for a 1500.
Don't look at the monthly payment, look at the total price and interest rate. You want to pay invoice, especially on an american vehicle.
You might want to look into a name brand (Honda, Toyota or Nissan) for some resale.
