The interior materials and overall design had been severely lacking on previous model years, and now is one of the most luxurious and ergonomic interiors in the full-size truck class. For years now nobody has complained about the work horse capabilities of these pickups and this year's model remains a very powerful truck. The 2007 Chevy Silverado should seriously be considered by anybody who is need of another truck and wants reliability and quality that has been proven time and again.

One of the factors that has made these trucks so popular is great assortment of body styles and engines Chevy has been able to offer. With the improvements on the inside there is literally nothing that holds this truck out of contention for being possibly the best truck, period. Interior comfort for drivers and passengers is notable as well with very nice interior fabrics and body molded seating.

Body and trim packages available for '07 include the LT, LTZ, and Z71 off road package. All of these can be had in regular cabs, extended, and crew cabs. The basic work truck has no label to it and is meant for, well work. Just because it doesn't come with all the fancy amenities in no way takes away from it's quality engineered engines and frame. Those who expect a little more out of their trucks however will need to look at least at a LT model. These come with basic power accessories like windows and locks. The stereo systems on LT models aren't fantastic but put out enough quality noise, and the interior fabrics are very nice.

The LTZ marks the upper level trim package and comes with a great deal of standard and optional features. These include full power accessories, On Star navigation systems, tech gadget ports and Sync capabilities, leather upholstery, and power seats. Those who want luxury combined with off-road performance should consider a Z71 package. These have all the luxuries of the other upper level trim package along with a much enhanced suspension tuning, making it one of the most ideal off-road trucks in the class.

Engines found a 2007 Chevy Silverado range from a 4.3 liter V6 (most common on basic and LT models), a 4.8 liter V8 that puts out 295 horsepower, and a 5.3 liter V8 with 315 horsepower. The larger engine is standard on 4 wheel drive LTs and LTZ trucks. There is a flex fuel engine as well. Upper level trucks also have an optional 6.0 liter V8 Vortec that puts out a whopping 367 horsepower.

Both Chevy and Ford argue that they have the best fuel economy on their trucks, but Chevy has more comparable models that out compete in this category. An average of all Silverado models show that it gets an impressive range of 14-19 mpg in different situations (impressive for a full size pickup).

Consumers who are looking for the ultimate experience from their pickup seriously need to consider one of these trucks. The 2007 Chevy Silverado is an impressive work horse and comfortable specimen in nearly every category there is.

How to make a stock 1992 Chevy silverado 1500 faster?

Got a stock 92 chevy silverado 1500 for graduation. 5.7L V8, gas, automatic transmission, new engine, new radiator... What all can I do to make this truck faster/ more ballsy. It has a modified exhaust, but pipes are startin to rust so I think i should replace it. Any tips or good products to purchase?

1st off people... It's a 1992 truck.. It don't have a carb. It will be throttle body fuel injected if still stock.
